Nightingale Village recognised for advancing UN Sustainable Development Agenda

Nightingale Village has been recognised by the International Union of Architects (UIA) at the World Urban Forum in Cairo. The Village won the UIA 2030 Award for adequate, safe and affordable housing.

The 2030 Awards, presented in partnership with UN-Habitat, celebrate architectural achievements that advance the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda. Honouring projects that demonstrate sustainable design principles, the UIA 2030 Award celebrates significant contributions to SDG 11: "Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable."

Nightingale Village is a collaboration between architecture architecture, Austin Maynard Architects, Breathe, Clare Cousins Architects, Hayball and Kennedy Nolan.
