Nightingale Village on Grand Designs Australia

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Kevin McCloud, the esteemed host of Grand Designs UK, to Nightingale Village in Brunswick. Kevin, who was in Australia exploring some of the country's finest examples of contemporary architecture, made a special stop at Nightingale's community-focused Village precinct. During his visit, he spoke with Dan, a resident of Nightingale Leftfield, who offered a firsthand account of life in the Village.

While we don't like to toot our own horn, Kevin was very impressed by the gas-free, six-building precinct, designed by six different award-winning Australian architects.
