After seven years at Nightingale Housing and with the recent completion of Nightingale Marrickville, Nightingale Preston and Nightingale Wurru wurru biik, Dan McKenna, our CEO, has chosen this moment in time to step away from his role at Nightingale to explore new challenges and opportunities, expanding on the impact created at Nightingale.
Dan was one of Nightingale Housings first employees helping lead the charge since 2017. In his time with Nightingale Housing Dan has stewarded the organisation through many significant challenges, all the while focusing on the Nightingale principles and mission. We have been fortunate to have such a talented leader and passionate advocate for housing for such a significant tenure. We are grateful for the way in which Dan has carried the vision of Nightingale Housing. We are supportive of his decision and grateful for his leadership and advocacy.
“Nightingale cares deeply about the experience of its residents and the outcomes for our communities,” Dan shares. “Together, with its mission-driven team, we’ve worked tirelessly towards realising the Nightingale vision: an Australia where housing is socially, financially and environmentally sustainable. It has been my privilege to lead the team to this end and carve a new pathway for delivering meaningful community-centred developments. I am hugely grateful for my time with Nightingale and as I hand over the reins to the highly capable team, I am filled with hope about the ongoing impact of Nightingale for generations to come.”
Both the Nightingale Housing Board and Nightingale Housing Members would like to thank Dan for championing Nightingale Housing and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
