Today we announced a new partnership for Nightingale Housing with Reece, a global leader in the supply of quality plumbing products.
Founded over a century ago, Reece began when H.J. Reece started selling quality hardware supplies from the back of his truck in Victoria. Fast forward to 2024, Reece is now Australia’s largest plumbing hardware distribution business with ambitious sustainability goals.
Nightingale and Reece have a history of unofficial collaborations on projects such as Nightingale Preston and Nightingale Wurru wurru biik. For these project, we worked together to ensure each home was fitted with high-quality bathroom and kitchen products that align with Nightingale’s sustainable principles.
Nightingale’s CEO, Dan McKenna welcomed making the partnership official, saying "As trusted leaders and keen innovators in the bathroom and plumbing space, our partnership with Reece underscores our shared commitment to creating homes that people genuinely love living in. We look forward to working more closely to deliver even more beautiful, functional, and sustainable solutions in our housing projects.”
Nick Gricks, Operations Leader for Onsite at Reece, said: “At Reece, we’re passionate about continuous improvement and learning from our industry. We’ve been proud to unofficially support Nightingale on several projects. Through these collaborations, our team was challenged to enhance and evolve our accessible and sustainable product range for the better. We’re excited about what this partnership will mean for Reece, our customers and the community.”
This partnership marks a significant step forward in our shared mission to create sustainable and high-quality homes. We look forward to the innovative possibilities this collaboration will bring.
