Nightingale supporter Caroline Farmer has teamed up with Austin Maynard Architects to bring Nightingale Housing to Bendigo.
Access to quality, sustainable, cost effective housing is not only an issue for our capital cities, but also within Australia’s diverse regional areas. Likewise, Nightingale is not just a housing model for urban areas. Nightingale can also be applied in suburban and regional areas too. Our aim for Nightingale Bendigo is to deliver community connected, beautifully designed, high quality, highly sustainable homes in medium density developments that provide value for money up front and in the longterm with low energy costs and quality of life. We also aim to explore sustainable transport solutions that will stitch in with existing transport infrastructure to not only get around town, but to also make it easy to train to and from Melbourne.
We are actively on the hunt for sites in Bendigo and are in ongoing discussions with Bendigo City Council. We’d love to hear from you about what opportunities you see in Bendigo and, importantly, if you are someone looking for a home in Bendigo, or considering the move then we’d love to hear from you too.
Tickets are available here via Eventbrite
